At the Creative Circle Awards, McDonald's "Fold, Shake & Count" advertisement in Lianhe Zaobao won all the awards given out under the Hotels/Restaurants category. The interactive advertisements invited readers to fold, shake and count selected elements to unravel a hidden message.

This award was given out by the (then) Singapore Productivity & Standards Board (now known as Spring Singapore) to McDonald's for outstanding quality service.
