Singapore, August 4, 2005 McDONALD’S McDELIVERY SERVICE -- FIRST TO OFFER 24/7 AND NO MINIMUM ORDER “6 triple 7, 3 triple 7; 24/7" may well become as familiar as the hearty Big Mac® chant (“two all-beef patties, special sauce, lettuce, cheese, pickles, onions on a sesame seed bun") even before McDonald’s campaign for its McDelivery service winds down later this month. With McDelivery, McDonald’s is demonstrating yet again its industry leadership – it’s the first to offer 24 hours delivery service, seven days a week and no minimum order requirement.

McDonald’s 125 restaurants island wide cater to those who enjoy the dine-in ambience. Indeed, 18 of the restaurants are now operating 24 hours so as to meet the needs of young adults any time of the day and night. Its six drive-thrus, which are also 24 hours, offer added convenience to those who prefer quick take-aways. With the newly launched McDelivery, customers craving for a McDonald’s meal can easily call anytime without even having to place a minimum order. A two dollars surcharge will continue to apply.

First introduced in 2003, McDelivery has become so popular that McDonald’s was given access passes to facilitate deliveries to Jurong Island, Sentosa and some educational institutions. The McDelivery 24/7 service will also accept credit card orders (Visa/Mastercard).
